If you would like to know more about Fort Hunt, please contact us. An Admissions committee member will respond to any questions that you may have about Fort Hunt and arrange for a school visit. .Please plan on visiting the school beginning in the fall of the year prior to enrollment. Children are welcome on these individual tours. We also hold an open house annually, in January or February. 
Current families, alumni, and members of Mount Vernon Unitarian Church receive admissions priority and should submit their applications for the 2012-2013 school year during our priority enrollment period, January 3-20, 2012. New families applying to the preschool must submit their 2012-2013 applications during our open enrollment period, February 4-17, 2012. Admission is determined by lottery. A limited number of spaces may be available for children who will be between the ages of 2 and 2.5 as of the first day of school, Tuesday, September 11, 2012. Please see our Admissions Policy for further information. RegistrationThe registration fee for Fort Hunt Preschool is $50. Registrations are not complete until payment is received. The 2012-13 school year application may be downloaded here.Financial AidFort Hunt Preschool is committed to providing an affordable preschool education for our member families. In addition to our reasonable tuition rates, we strive to offer financial aid in the form of tuition assistance to those families who may not otherwise be able to afford the preschool experience or who suffer a temporary financial hardship.The financial aid application may be downloaded here.
