Fort Hunt Preschool, a parent cooperative preschool, is currently seeking candidates for the part time position of 4s teacher for the 2022-23 school year.  Our 4s classes meet Monday through Friday from 9:15am- 12N, with additional time outside of class required for curriculum development, classroom setup, staff meetings, and  training, for example.

Qualified candidates must have a BA or equivalent in Child Development or related  field, and/or experience working with preschool and/or toddler-aged children.  An  enthusiastic and caring personality, as well as the ability to collaborate as a team also are critical to the position.  Our teachers are committed to excellence in teaching, parent education and dialogue, self-development, and collegial cooperation.

Our curriculum is play-based, nature-rich, and focuses on the development of the  whole child.
