Fort Hunt Preschool, a parent cooperative preschool, is currently seeking candidates for an additional part time position of Teaching Assistant/Floater for the  2023-2024 school year. Teaching Assistants support the Teachers by supervising children to ensure the daily care of every child. Our program meets  from 9:15 am-12N, Monday through Friday, but we currently have a need for an additional TA on Mondays and Fridays. Teaching Assistants also are required  to participate in training during the school year as required by our license. Candidates also will be required to participate in training during the school year as required by our license and meet all other licensing requirements.

Candidates should have experience working with preschool aged children, a  minimum of a high school degree with college degree preferred, and an enthusiastic and caring personality. Our curriculum is play-based, nature-rich, and focuses on the development of the  whole child.
